The organisation has developed diverent activities.

From the point of own history, the fondation of the "Zollernkreis" on the castle of Hohenzollern has to be mentioned. Out of this circle the "Preußeninstitut" was created, which promotes Prussian history and culture.

The most important activity is the publication of the bi-monthly magasin "Erbe und Auftrag", which means heritage and duty.

The organisation consists of so called working groups. They organise lectures, trips, exhibition visits, discussions or cabaret evenings.

Some events became tradition. The circles in Cologne and Frankfurt / M. meet every January to comemorate the birthday of Frederik the Great and Kaiser Wilhelm II. Over the years the number of participants increased. In Leverkusen near Cologne arose a festival on the birthday of The Kaiser. New founded groups are at Hamburg and in Saxony.

Some German TVs reported about such trips and documented one in the film by Peter Schamoni "Majestät brauchen Sonne" (His Majesty needs sun - a saying in Germany, that The Kaiser always needed sun to show in public, this created the slogan "Kaiserwetter" - meaning Emperorsweather), rewarded with the Bavarian film prize.

Several TV talkshows in the German television were relised and participated in. Several newspapers and radio stations made interviews with .

To be mentioned is the annual general meeting. This takes place on changing places, e.g. Dresden, Meiningen, Frankfurt a.M., Köln, Berlin, Frankfurt a.d.O., Karlsruhe, Rheinsberg or Mainz (2000). Usualy we have a sightseeing tour in the city and lectures, e.g. 1997 "Russia and monarchy today" by W. Akunow, Moskau, the revolution of 1848 or the antimachiavell. In 2006 we visited Coburg where The Prince Consort Albert came from.

1999 became "godfather" of two imperial geese in the Zoo of Neunkirchen. In 1999 HRH Prince Heinrich of Hanover gave a lecture in Frankfurt / M. In January 2001 we organised a trip to Koenigsberg in Prussia to comemorate the 300 anniversary of the coronation of the Prussian King. At the same time a ceremony took place at Potsdam.

We are present in the internet since 1997 and updated the homepage in 2003 and 2007. Since 2001 the page is available in English too.
