"We crown Democracy"

This is the motto of our organisation promoting the idea of monarchy. With a Monarchy in Germany we prevend extremism and falling appart of the society. Monarchy will bring a lot of benefits to our People and the state. It also supports the international relationship and the European unification process by
"The European Familiy" which the Royals are.

The organisation was registered January 1959 at Cologne. Prior to that, the constitutional assembly took place Autum 1958.

But the roots of the organisation go far back. Short after World War II monarchists got together with the motto "Letters for "Tradition und Leben". They followed partly the tradition of monarchical organisations and persons from the Weimar time (1919-1933). Within the Nazi period our monarchical pre-organisation "Bund der Aufrechten" was one of the first organisations prohibited by the Nazis. Several monarchist could be found under the resistance groups such as the "Kreisauer Kreis".

This makes to the oldest organisation of its kind and the most important in Germany.
